Joan Rose, 84, of Centralia, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital.
Joan was born November 16, 1940, in Great Bend, KS, the daughter of Hubert Rose and Clara (Schuknecht) Rose.
She is survived by one sister: Sarah Craney and husband Louis of Centralia, nieces and nephews: James Craney and wife Beth of Glen Carbon, David Craney and wife Katherine of Aiken, SC, Matthew Craney and significant other Michele Mueller of Centralia, Jennifer Pugh and significant other Bill Juenger of Centralia, Mark Wood of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Maria Yardy and husband John of Norman, Oklahoma, Douglas Wood and wife Pam of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Devona Wolden of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Derika Rayburn and husband James of Spencer, Oklahoma.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents: Hubert and Clara Rose, one nephew: Christopher Craney, and a sister: Betty Rose-Wood.
Joan traveled extensively. She loved traveling to any beach and spending quality time reading.
Per Joan’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in Oklahoma, where she will be interred at Elmore City Cemetery in Oklahoma.
