Most government offices are closed on Monday for the New Year’s Holiday.
The list includes Salem and Centralia City Halls, area courthouses, and most state and federal government facilities. Garbage pickup will be one day late in both Salem and Centralia in the coming week, with no pickup on Monday. The Salem landscape waste Tuesday-Thursday pickup schedule will not be impacted.
There will be no home mail delivery and financial institutions will be closed.
