The Sandoval Police Department is up to four full-time officers with the graduation of two members of its department from the 16-week Southwestern Illinois Police Academy in Belleville on Friday.
Officers Brody Meigs and Matthew Arrasmith of Salem will join Officer Travis Nix and long-time chief Joe Lyons. The department also has one part-time member Jason Davis.
Meigs and Arrasmith are starting their field training this weekend with other department officers. Both are also firefighters for the Salem Fire Protection District.
