He was born on February 5, 1956, in Salem, the son of Charlotte (Cox) and Paul Bartley.  He married the love of his life, Lisa Herman on August 18, 1989, in Paducah, Kentucky, and together they have built a loving family.

Mike is survived by his wife, Lisa Bartley; sons, Anthony Bartley (Alannah) and Michael Bartley; daughter, Christina Bartley; grandsons, Waylon and Trypp Bartley, granddaughters, Krystan Woodward and Kaylee Fink; four great-grandchildren with a fifth on the way; sisters, Pat Montogomery, Barbara Skabialka (Mike), and Kelly Donoho; brother, Joe Monical Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and brother and sister-in-laws.

Mike grew up and attended Salem grade school and high school and was baptized at Harvey’s Point Christian Church.  He was a certified welder for 34 years with ESI and Americana retiring in 2021.

Mike loved to spend time with his family, go fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, grow a huge garden, and work on side projects in the garage and yard.  He never missed his kid’s school activities and enjoyed every event they were involved in.  He was a St. Louis Blues fan.  Mike helped raise a loving family, was a friend to everyone, and would give a helping hand to anyone in need.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
