Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with the Grinch, are all scheduled to visit the Marion County Courthouse on Tuesday evening.
Sheriff Kevin Cripps, who has been in touch with the North Pole, says Santa is due to arrive at the courthouse at 5:15 Tuesday evening. Those who want to greet Santa and pass on their Christmas list are invited to arrive at the courthouse after five Tuesday evening. You are asked to enter the east security door. Santa will be at the courthouse until seven.
For those who would like to assist children in foster care through the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, a box will be set up by the State’s Attorney’s office for toys to be dropped off. Cash donations will also be accepted.
