JH Boys Results….Salem Falls To Mt Vernon, Raccoon Wins 4th Straight
Franklin Park dropped their last game at the Benton Tournament to Casey Mount Vernon 44-30. In the loss, Troy Keele led the short handed Bobcats with 10 and Scout Puricelli added 9. Salem played without leading scorer Kyler King and Zane Applegate with injuries.
Raccoon won their 4th straight game, beating Grand Prairie 58-55 behind 28 from John Organ. Keegan Brammeier added 17 and Drake Rector finished with 13.
The SC Falcons travel to Odin.
Sellers 26 Leads Iuka On 8th Grade Night, New Horizon Is 14-1
The Iuka Lady Pirates honored their 8th graders as they improved to 11-3 on the season with a 50-32 win over Odin/Patoka. Katee Sellers was great with 26 points. Kinnley Eagan added 8 and Kenzie McGinnis and Kenzie Collier added 6 each. Iuka will play a varsity only game tonight starting at 5:30 at Franklin Park.
On Tuesday night, New Horizon took down Rome 58-27. Annalyn Bass had 23 points and 16 rebounds. Liv Torrence added 16 and Addison Wangler 12. The Lady Crusaders are 14-1 and will play host to Class L DuQuoin tonight.
The Odin/Patoka Lady EagleHawks are back in action tonight at Central City.
