Three candidates have filed for 12th District Congressman.
Incumbent Republican Mike Bost of Murphysboro along with Republican challenger Darren Bailey and Democrat Joshua Qualls of Centralia were all on hand at eight Monday morning as filing got underway at the State Board of Elections.
Republican 109th District State Representative Charlie Meier and 110th District State Representative Blaine Wilhour both filed for re-election. At the close of filing on Monday, they have no opposition.
No one has yet filed in the 54th State Senate Seat held by Republican Jason Plummer, but Plummer has indicated he will seek re-election.
Two Republican candidates have filed to replace Judge Michael McHaney as 4th District Circuit Court Judge. They are Dennis Atteberry of Taylorville and Douglas Gruenke of New Baden.
For the Judge Roberts vacancy, Republican Christopher Hantla of Litchfield has filed.
