The Bryan Bennett Library will hold its Seventh Annual Reception for Seniors on Thursday, December 7th, at the Bryan-Bennett Library.
The event begins at 1:30 pm.
The Kaskaskia River Brass Band will perform. Members include Len Campbell, Tom Baker, Bill Reynolds, Chris Smith, Bob Wilson and Tom Champion.
Those attending will be able to enjoy a warm bowl of chili as they listen to the ensemble. The library will also serve cookies and punch.
There is no fee to attend, but registration is required by calling the library at (618) 548-3006 or stopping by at 315 South Maple.
