A 47-year-old Nashville woman has been charged with14 felony counts of interstate communication of a threat to injure.
Alexia Willie, also known as Jason Willie, is accused in 14 instances of threatening to walk into schools or public restrooms to shoot or sexually abuse children. According to court documents, Willie allegedly made threatening statements while on video in online chatrooms with victims across the country.
The crime is punishable by up to five years’ imprisonment per count.
US Attorney Rachelle Aud Crowe says law enforcement agencies take threats against children seriously and will extensively investigate adults who threaten to endanger them.
