Kimberly J. Lemons, 61, of Ina, Illinois, passed away at 10:02 pm November 21, 2024 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born January 12, 1963 in Downey County, California to Dick and Patricia (Blair) Hulsey. Kimberly married Dennis Lemons on December 13, 1986 in San Marcos, California. They were blessed with nearly 38 years of marriage.
In addition to her parents and husband, Kimberly is survived by her son, Stephen Lemons and wife, Kaci of Mount Vernon; granddaughter, Kenleigh Lemons of Mount Vernon; brother, Chris Hulsey and wife, Cathy of Maryville, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
Kimberly will be remembered as a cherished daughter, beloved wife, devoted mother, treasured grandmother, and dear aunt and friend to many.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Memorials may be made in Kimberly’s honor to the Lemons family, in care of Dennis Lemons, to go towards a college fund for Kenleigh.
