Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 53-year-old Salem woman on an outstanding no-bond warrant and on a new charge of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon. Deputies say they were watching the home of Marjorie Woodward of Hoots Chapel Road when she returned home and instead of stopping for deputies allegedly ran into the home. She eventually was taken into custody. The no-bond warrant was for failure to appear in court on pending charges of aggravated battery to a person over 60 and resisting arrest. The weapons charge was added when a switchblade knife was allegedly found in her purse.
38-year-old Timothy Finley of Spruce Street in Salem was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on a no-bond Marion County felony warrant for failure to appear on a petition to revoke his probation on a possession of meth charge.
59-year-old Wally West of West Case in Kinmundy was arrested by sheriff’s deputies on a no-bond Jefferson County felony warrant for failure to appear on a possession of methamphetamine charge. He was later transferred to the Jefferson County Jail.
