Mt Carmel got over 300 yards rushing and 5 touchdowns from quarterback Blayne Sisson and another 9-of-10 for 180 yards and another touchdown through the air as the Aces routed Roxana on the road 63-48. They advance to play for the 3a state title this weekend against Byron after their 26-20 win over Lombard Montini.
In 4a, Rochester routed Murphysboro on the road 42-14. East St Louis will play Cary Grove for the 6a state title after the Flyers won at Washington 34-18.
