A 29-year-old homeless Sandoval man is in the Marion County Jail for alleged fleeing and eluding police, domestic battery, and criminal damage to property.   Sandoval Police Chief Joe Lyons said Joey Evans allegedly got into a disagreement with his girlfriend and knocked a window out of her car with a brick.   After he was later spotted, Evans allegedly ran from police on foot but was eventually stopped and arrested without further incident.

42-year-old Roxann Habeck of Edgewood South in Centralia was arrested on a no-bond felony warrant from Washington County.

Centralia Police arrested 38-year-old Tad Vernor of Linden Street in Centralia for alleged domestic battery.   He was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Centralia City Firemen report no fire damage to an apartment occupied by Joshua Steve of 614 West Kell after a pan of food caught fire on the stove.  The flaming pan was taken outside.  Firemen say there was considerable smoke in the home, but no lasting damage.   The fire call came in at 3:47 Monday afternoon.
