Odin residents lost power for about two hours late Wednesday morning and early afternoon after a combine hit a low-hanging cable line on Perkins Street in Odin.
Odin Fire Protection District Chief Greg Smith says after the combine got tangled in the cable line a power pole broke and a power line came down.
Ameren Illinois was able to restore power about two hours after the outage began at 11:42 on Wednesday morning. Work continued into the evening hours of putting up a new pole. The 100 block of Perkins Street remained closed until the work was completed.
There were no injuries.
