Salem Police have arrested 31-year-old Thadeaus Johnston of Elm Street in Centralia for felony stalking. Police report Johnston was involved in a domestic dispute with a family member and after she agreed to leave, he reportedly followed her. Johnston was taken to the Marion County Jail.
Two others remain in jail following separate arrests for alleged domestic battery on Saturday. Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 44-year-old Brian Hartnell of Range Road in Sandoval. Centralia Police arrested 43-year-old Airron Boyce of Gaskins Avenue in Mt. Vernon.
Salem Police arrested 46-year-old Kenea Williams of North Vine in Sandoval on a Clinton County traffic failure to appear warrant. She posted $400 cash bond and was released.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a one-vehicle crash near the Airport and Copple Road intersection southeast of Centralia. Sheriff’s Deputies say no one was around the vehicle that had airbag deployment and a cracked windshield as well as front end damage. An attempt to locate the registered owner was unsuccessful. It was not clear if those in the vehicle had been injured. Deputies report the car appeared to have been northbound when it left the Airport Road, hit a culvert, and struck a ditch where it came to rest. The crash was found at 12:47 Sunday morning.
