Nine veterans will be honored at the Centralia Veterans Day program on Saturday.
The nine will be inducted into the court of honor during the program that begins at 10:30 Saturday morning at the Centralia VFW Post 2055 on South Pine Street. The honorees include a 100 year old World War II veteran and a father and son who served in the military. The names are not announced ahead of time, as the honors are a surprise for the recipients.
The guest speaker will be Adam Feig who has been involved in several programs to benefit veterans.
A lunch will be served following the program.
The annual event is sponsored by the Sutherland Funeral Homes and Hillcrest Memorial Park.
