The Salem American Legion is providing two free meals to Veterans as a Thank You for their service.
The first is Friday night. Veterans eat free at the Friday night fish dinner from four to eight pm. All others are invited to eat at the fish fry Friday night for $15.00.
The American Legion will continue its tradition of providing a Thanksgiving meal to veterans free of charge. It will be held next Friday, November 17th, from four to eight pm. Family members and friends who want to join the veterans may purchase a Thanksgiving meal for $10.
The Salem American Legion is also reminding everyone of a Chili Supper Benefit and Cornhole Tournament for the American Legion next Saturday, November 18th. It will run from noon to five pm. The cornhole tournament starts at one. DJ Dale Akers will provide the entertainment.
Salem American Legion activities are always open to the public.
