A 28-year-old Centralia man has died in a motorcycle crash just outside of Centralia in Clinton County.
Clinton County Coroner Phillip Moss pronounced the man dead on the scene on Linn Road east of the Jolliff Bridge Road northwest of Centralia.
The name of the crash victim has not been released pending notification of family.
Moss says a man picking up trash found the wreck around daybreak. It appeared the man had been dead for some time before the crash was discovered.
Centralia Police were first on the scene since a Clinton County Sheriff’s Deputy was some distance away. The Centralia Fire Protection District and Lifestar Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
