An 18-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty in Marion County Court to criminal sexual abuse with the use of force.
Kaleb Nagy of North Pine Street was arrested after Centralia Police were called to the emergency room of SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital to investigate a possible sexual assault to a 17-year-old woman that had occurred in Foundation Park. Nagy and the victim were co-workers at a Centralia business.
As part of the plea, Nagy will also have to complete six months of mandatory supervised release. He was also ordered to make $3,900 in restitution and pay a $200 public defender fee.
A charge of criminal sexual assault in connection with the same incident was dropped as part of the plea.
