A 45-year-old Centralia man was arrested by Centralia Police on multiple charges following a Monday night traffic stop.
Christopher Ramey of East 6th was eventually taken into custody for driving on a suspended or revoked license, two counts of bond violation under the new pre-trial release law, possession of methamphetamine, and bribery.
Police report following the traffic stop, a person he was not allowed to have contact under his pre-trial release agreement was located in the passenger seat. Police also allegedly saw small pieces of methamphetamine on the floorboard along with residue in a baggie corner.
After being placed in a report room at the Centralia Police Department, Ramey allegedly asked the officer what he wanted and then offered $1,000 to make the no-contact order go away.
Ramey was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a final decision on charges.
