Odin Firemen were busy Saturday, handling three separate calls.

The first fire was at the Cheryl Soulon home in the 200 block of Perkins Street where a leaf fire spread to a privacy fence.   Fire Chief Greg Smith says the fence received minor damage and will need some panels replaced.  The call came in at 10:22 on Saturday morning.

The second fire was a small fire to an exterior wall of the Brandi Williams home in the 100 block of DeWolf Street.  Smith says the fire was caused by a power line that was pulled down by a fallen limb.  There was no other damage to the home.  Salem and Sandoval provided automatic mutual aid and Centralia City Firemen stood by at the Odin Fire Station in the event of another fire.  The fire call came in at 12:28 Saturday afternoon, with firemen on the scene for about an hour.

The third fire was at the Jobee Harper residence in the 1500 block of Red Stripe Road where a large trash fire had spread to a 12 by 12 foot shed and the area around the shed.  Smith says the fire was contained to the doors of the shed.  Sandoval and Salem once again provided automatic mutual aid.  The fire call was received at 3:46 Saturday afternoon with firemen clearing the scene at 4:30.

An electrical fire damaged the wall of a home on De Wolf Street in Odin on Saturday.
