Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say one person was taken to the hospital for treatment following a two-vehicle crash at the Route 37 and Walnut Hill Road intersection on the Marion-Jefferson County line.
Reports indicate 31-year-old Daniel Brazell of Casey Avenue in Mt. Vernon missed the stop sign while eastbound on Walnut Hill Road and crashed into the passenger side of a southbound vehicle on Route 37 driven by 52-year-old James Johnson of Geiger Lane in Xenia.
Johnson was transported to Salem Township Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Brazell was treated on the scene by medical personnel and refused hospital treatment.
The crash occurred at 6:15 on Wednesday morning.
