Vicki C Lisenby, 77, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 8:36 am October 26, 2024, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. She was born May 24, 1947, in Mount Vernon to the late Norman and Virginia Edson. Vicki married Chuck Lisenby on June 27, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were blessed with 15 years of marriage.
In addition to her beloved husband, Vicki is survived by her son, Jim Smothers and girlfriend, Angie Hurtz; daughter, Kim Smothers; stepdaughter, Kelly Ivers and husband, Ryan; grandsons, Luca Ivers and Larry Chronister; and brother, Jeff Edson and wife, Louise.
In addition to her father and mother, Vicki was preceded in death by her stepmother, Marven Edson.
Vicki worked for the City of Mount Vernon in the Department of Public Works for several years. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and watching the Saint Louis Cardinals. Vicki was a very caring and compassionate person. She loved her family and fur babies very much. Vicki will be deeply missed.
Services are pending at this time. The interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
