Richard Moll, the actor best known for playing the imposing but kindhearted bailiff “Bull” Shannon on the NBC sitcom Night Court, died “peacefully” Thursday at his home in Big Bear Lake, California, a representative for Moll tells Entertainment Weekly He was 80.
