Despite the cold and cloudy weather plenty of costumed kids and their parents showed up for the Children’s Halloween Parade in Centralia Saturday morning. Participants were judged, and shortly thereafter families on foot marched along with wagons, floats, and the Centralia Junior High School marching band. Lucas and Harley McCall won the Tony Demijan Award. The winning wagon, Fruit Loops, was fashioned as a big bowl of the titular cereal, while the winning float, Donkey Kong, featured characters and decorations from the Super Mario franchise.
