A free coat giveaway will be held in Centralia on Saturday.
This is the third year Crystal Koch is coordinating the event that will be held at the Calumet Street Christian Church on East Calumet Street in Centralia. The hours are ten to one, with items given away on a first come first serve basis.
Koch says over 400 brand-new coats, hats, and gloves will be handed out. Sizes start at 12 months and go up through adult 3xl. Any child is welcome to attend. The only requirement is that the children must be present to receive items.
Koch has also been organizing a back-to-school giveaway each year.
