The SIJHSAA State Baseball and Softball Tournaments continue with semifinals today. Class L in Centralia today at 1pm will see Carterville and Waterloo followed at 3pm by Olney and DuQuoin.
In state softball action, DuQuoin plays Wesclin followed by Carterville and Sparta Lincoln.
In Class M baseball at Pinckneyville, Trico and Gallatin County play at 1 followed by Nashville and Goreville.
In softball play, Nashville takes on Jonesboro followed by Coulterville/Marissa and Fairfield.
In Class S baseball at Coulterville, Buford/Farrington plays Our Lady of Mount Carmel at 1 followed by Altamont Lutheran and St Peter and Paul Catholic.
In softball play today, Waltonville and Century play at 1 followed by the Defenders of Trinity St Mary and New Hope at 3pm.
