A 47-year-old Centralia man has been charged in Marion County Court with unlawful restraint and felony domestic battery. The bond for Jesse Wallace of South Sycamore was set at $25,000. The court charges indicate that Wallace allegedly struck a family member in the head with his hand and allegedly pushed the same person into a car and prevented her from getting out. The domestic battery charge was a felony due to a past domestic battery conviction. Wallace had the public defender appointed to represent him. Both incidents occurred on Tuesday, but Wallace wasn’t arrested until Thursday.
46-year-old Kurt Zimmerman of East 6th Street in Centralia was charged with possession of under five grams of methamphetamine. The bond was set at $7,500. The public defender was appointed to represent Zimmerman.
