The Salem Wildcat boys golfers celebrated their 3 seniors with their home match win over Carlyle and Mount Vernon. Logan Lockhart was medalist with an even par 36. All 3 seniors scores counted in the match. Jairen Stroud added 37 with 40s from Cale Harris and Jackson Jarrett. Xander Ashby led Mount Vernon with a 40, Rhettick Steinkamp and Gannon Meyer shot 44 to lead Carlyle.
The Salem JV on Monday went to Sandoval to compete against the varsity Blackhawks. Sandoval came away with a 168-172 victory. Beau Chapman was medalist shooting 37 for Sandoval, Tristan Green 42, Owen Landreth 44 and Austin Hoffmann 45. Salem got a 40 from Jackson Green, 42 Aden Bass, 45 Luke Young, Wyatt Rau and Jackson Jarrett.
