Three people have been arrested following the execution of a search warrant on a home in the 2200 block of College Street in Mt. Vernon.

The Mt. Vernon Police/Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit sought the search warrant after previously purchasing quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl from the residence.

Police say a total of eight people were located inside the residence. After interviewing the suspects at the residence three people, all residents, were taken into custody. A search of the residence located amounts of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and drug equipment.

Those arrested include 29-year-old Cole Swan on charges of aggravated delivery of methamphetamine and possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine.  In addition, Swan was arrested for aggravated delivery of 5 to 15 grams of meth, delivery of less than five grams of meth, and delivery of fentanyl following earlier controlled buys to a source of the narcotics division.  Police say the investigation continues and additional charges are expected. 

Police also arrested 38-year-old Christopher Williams for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl).

24-year-old Deja C Hill was arrested on a Jefferson County warrant charging her with FTA – Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond is set at $30,000 (10% applies).
