The Salem Lady Wildcats used a huge first set run to win 25-22 overcoming a big deficit. The Lady Cats kept that momentum early in the 2nd set taking an early 8-1 advantage, however the Lady Eagles came roaring back and finished with a 25-14 win and set up a 3rd set also won by Columbia 25-17. Salem falls to 1-3 on the season. The night opened with the freshman losing in straight sets 11-21, 11-21. The JV lost 19-25, 17-25 to fall to 3-1.
The SC Lady Cougars beat St Elmo/Brownstown in 2 sets 25-18, 25-10 to improve to 3-1. Reagan Roberts had 7 assists, Brooke Cowger 9 kills and Jalynn Mitchell 6 digs. The SC JV is 2-2 after a 21-25, 24-26 loss and the Fresh Soph won in 2 sets 25-21, 25-17.
