Salem Township Hospital has a new Chief Financial Officer.
Amy Gray who comes to Salem Township Hospital from the same position at Fairfield Memorial Hospital made her first financial report to the hospital board Wednesday afternoon.
“I have been in health care and finance about 25 years with 15 of the last years as CFO. Worked most exclusively for not for profits. I enjoy not for profit hospitals for the fact that we give back to the community. I have got my CPA and a masters in Health Care Administration.”
Gray has lived in the Mt. Vernon area for the past 15 years. She says she has found everything at Salem Township Hospital to be excellent.
Hospital President Alex Nazarian says Gray was selected based on her ability to relate with the staff and medical doctors and past daily experience at critical access hospitals similar to Salem Township Hospital’s structure.
