Salem City Manager Rex Barbee says the front lobby to Salem City Hall will be closed to the public on Thursday to allow for a new concrete sidewalk to be poured in front of City Hall on South Broadway.
Utility payments may still be paid by phone or by using the night deposit drop on the north side of the building along West Main Street. City Hall can be reached by phone at 618-548-2222.
Barbee is thanking residents for their patience in this matter.
