Doyle Talbert, age 62 of Sandoval, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
Doyle was born on March 2, 1962, in Salem, IL the son of Wilbur D. and Audrey (Branch) Talbert.
He is survived by a daughter, Bobbi Lemashov and her husband Rei of PA; son, Eric Talbert of SC; stepsons, Eric Gaul and Sean Gaul both of Centralia; brothers, David Talbert of Sandoval and Lyle Talbert of Odin; a sister, Carla Talbert of PA; a loving group of grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Doyle was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Charlotte Talbert; and a sister-in-law, Sherry Talbert.
Doyle enjoyed tinkering, building custom bicycles, spending time on the lake, restoring guitars, playing the harmonica, and being around family and friends. He attended the Sandoval First United Methodist Church.
A Celebration of Life for Doyle Talbert will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Sandoval First United Methodist Church with Jimmy Winters officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service. The burial will be in Fredonia Cemetery in Odin. Memorial contributions can be made to the Sandoval First United Methodist Church and can be received by Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
