Phyllis (Galbraith) Francois, 78, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in Salem, Illinois.
She was born October 4, 1945, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, the daughter of James and Myrtle (Green) Galbraith. On February 14, 1976, in Odin, Illinois, she married Phillip Francois, and he survives.
In addition to her husband, Phillip Francois of Salem, she is survived by two sons, Jon Francois and James Francois; and a sister, Carolyn Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Bob and Ronald Galbraith.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites for Mrs. Francois have been accorded, and no public services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and will be received by mail to the Osborn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 130, Dix, Illinois 62830.
