Salem Police have arrested 23-year-old Tony Rybacki of Salem in connection with the theft of a backpack from a vehicle that contained four computer devices.
The theft occurred in the 400 block of East Locust Street.
Another person reportedly found the back pack and gave it to police. Most of the stolen items were recovered and Rybacki was developed as a suspect.
Rybacki was spotted walking on Mitchell Street in Salem late Friday afternoon and was taken into custody. Other items reportedly taken from the backpack were allegedly in his possession.
Rybacki was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges.
