Salem Police arrested a 67-year-old Salem man for alleged domestic battery following an alleged altercation at his home. Mark Davis of Allmon Street was taken to the Marion County Jail. The other person involved was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 40-year-old Michael Talley of Warmoth Street in Salem for alleged violation of the sex offender registration law. He remained in custody pending a formal decision on any charges to be filed.
27-year-old Brock Metcalf of South College in Salem posted $300 bond and was released after being arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on a Clay County failure to appear DUI warrant.
30-year-old Christopher Rybacki of Lebanon Street in Nashville turned himself in on a Marion County traffic failure to appear warrant. He posted $200 bond and was released.
Salem Police arrested 39-year-old Quinton Nix of South Washington in Salem for alleged criminal trespass to property. Police were looking for Nix for allegedly entering the Salem Walmart Store on July 25th after being banned. Nix was found behind the strip shopping center west of the Walmart Store by police Saturday morning. He was given a notice to appear in court.
