2024 07/29 – Tori Sierra Robbins

Tori Sierra Robbins, 28, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 5:43 am, Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

Tori, born on September 8, 1995, in Centralia, the daughter of Randy and Delana (Webster) Robbins. Her exceptional qualities shone brightly in her chosen profession as a Nursing Aide at Shamrock Services in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Her passionate commitment to helping the disabled earned her immense respect and admiration. Tori embodied this spirit, dedicating her life to serving those in need.

Tori’s love for life extended beyond her professional realm. An outdoors lady at heart, she loved hunting, watching sunsets and had a green thumb for nurturing all kinds of flowers. Her love for sunsets was so profound that she and her mother had matching sunset tattoos. Sunday dinners at her grandparents’ house were a cherished tradition. She was a pillar of strength, fiercely independent, and always did things her way. Her love and dedication towards her family, especially her beloved daughter, were profound.

Tori is survived by her mother: Delana Webster of Kinmundy; her father Randy (Ginger) Robbins of Salem; daughter: Phoenix Voss of Mt. Vernon; brothers: Treavor (Emily) Robbins; Trey Robbins; maternal grandparents: Benny and Marilyn Webster; maternal great grandfather: Myron Hanks all of Kinmundy; aunts: Sandra Wimberly of Salem, and Sarah (Jeremy) Mette of Kinmundy; uncles: Daniel (Krissa) Webster of Kinmundy, and Chris (Chris) Webster of Salem. She is also survived by many great aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends including Dalton Voss, Phoenix’s father.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Francis Robbins and Bernard Robbins; her uncle: Ronald Wimberly; her maternal great grandparents: Rosetta Hanks, Ben Webster, and Goldie Webster; and her special great uncle: Michael Logue.

Funeral services to celebrate Tori’s life will be held at 3:30 pm, Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Brown Christian Church with Shannon Bopp officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Phillips Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday at the church where friends may call from 1:00 to 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Tori’s memory to an education fund for her daughter Phoenix.
