The 2023 Colt League World Series will once again be held in Marion starting Friday. The Marion team will feature Salem junior Noah Nix. They will open at 8pm Saturday night against the winner of Tijuana, Mexico and Chiba, Japan who play Friday at noon. in the tournaments first game.
The tournament will continue at 3pm with Youngstown, Ohio taking on Aroma Park, Illinois. At 8pm Friday night, Southern Illinois will play Paderborn, Germany and the final first round game will be Saturday morning at 9am with Rio Grande Valley, Texas taking on Greensboro, North Carolina with that winner playing Santa Monica, California.
