A 47-year-old Salem woman has been arrested by Centralia Police on multiple traffic-related offenses. Maria Massaro of South Washington was taken to the Marion County Jail for alleged aggravated driving under the influence, fleeing and eluding police, reckless driving, and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
Centralia Police made two arrests for domestic battery. 35-year-old Dawn Ruez of South Elm in Centralia and 31-year-old Billy Williams of South Elm in Centralia were both taken to the Marion County Jail pending a decision on formal charges.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary at a home in the 600 block of A Street in Vernon. A safe was reportedly knocked over with items reported missing from the safe and residence. The break-in was reported at 3:51 Tuesday afternoon.
