The Aviston Express won their 2nd straight 5th Division Senior Legion Tournament with a 10-0 win over host Orient. Landon Geragosian went the distance on the mound. At the plate, Mason Hamon had 2 hits and Dalton Boruff drove in two runs along with Wade Sabo.
The Express head back to State where they will open in Galesburg on Wednesday afternoon in the 2nd game at 2:30 against Wheaton. Rock Island and Danville will open up at noon with the winners playing on Thursday at 2:30. The loser drops into an elimination game at noon Thursday against the loser of Barrington and Galesburg who will play their first round game Wednesday at 5:30. The tournament will conclude on Saturday.
