SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital will be providing free bike helmets to kids during Family Day at Balloonfest for as long as they last.
The distribution will be from noon to six on Sunday, August 20th, at the SSM Health Tent in Foundation Park.
The SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Safety Program is dedicated to the well-being and safety of children of all ages. Through education and resources, the goal is to prevent children’s injuries, the majority of which are preventable, and contribute to the overall reduction of infant mortality.
The bike helmets are given away in partnership with Safe Kids Worldwide and a variety of local organizations.
