A 20-year-old Centralia man has pleaded guilty in Marion County Court to resisting or obstructing arrest. Justin Street of East Noleman is accused of jerking away from a police officer trying to arrest him in April of last year. He was placed on one-year probation, ordered to undergo drug and alcohol evaluation and pay a $300 probation fee. A charge of aggravated battery to a police officer was dropped as part of the plea.
A 55-year-old Rochester, New York man has pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Bobby Ashford was placed on two years probation, ordered to undergo a drug evaluation with recommended treatment, and pay a $600 probation fee. He admitted to having less than 15 grams of cocaine in his possession.
