Sandoval Police have arrested 31-year-old Cody Wilson of North Vine in Sandoval on an outstanding Marion County failure to appear domestic violence warrant. He was taken to the Marion County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.
A 47-year-old Salem man was ticketed for driving under the influence and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident following a one-vehicle crash on the Nation Road just west of the Interstate 57 overpass on Monday. Jesse Thurmond of Branch Road was located walking a short distance from where his vehicle ran into the roadside ditch. He was released on a notice to appear in court.
