The Salem 11u Post Season is done after falling to Mt Carmel in the District Championship game at Mt Carmel 17-5. Salem scored 2 runs in the top of the first, only to see the home team score 16 times in the bottom of the first.
For Salem at the plate, Isaac Knapp was 2-3 with 2 RBI and a run, Devan Jennings drove in 2 runs with Jacob Butts hitting a double and scoring, Emit Gibson doubled as part of a 3 hit day and drove in a run and scored twice.
Tanner Purintun, Jennings and Dakota Gregg threw for the Cats.
Mt Carmel advances to the Sectionals which they will also host.
