A 69-year-old Centralia man received apparent minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at Broadway and Sycamore in Centralia early Thursday night.
Centralia Police say a car driven by Terry Miller of East 15th was traveling westbound on Broadway when it struck the passenger door of an SUV driven by 38-year-old Jose Garcia of St. Louis, Missouri. The crash occurred after Garcia reportedly stopped at the stop sign but then pulled in front of Miller.
Miller was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of injuries by Lifestar Ambulance. The Centralia Fire Department was also called to assist the victims of the crash.
Garcia was not injured. He was ticketed for no driver’s license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
