Salem Police have arrested a 33-year-old homeless Salem woman for possession of methamphetamine and on an outstanding Marion County felony warrant on a criminal trespass to residence conviction. Nicole Dutton was stopped while walking at Church and Hamilton on Saturday night and was initially arrested on the warrant. She then was allegedly found in possession of a loaded syringe that field tested for methamphetamine. Dutton was taken to the Marion County Jail. Bond on the warrant is set at $2,500.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 43-year-old William Sides of West Effingham in Patoka on a Marion County warrant on a pending felony domestic battery case. Sides was taken to the Marion County Jail where he is being held in lieu of $20,000 bond.
