A 33-year-old Central City woman was arrested by Central City Police Saturday night for alleged possession of a controlled substance, aggravated fleeing and eluding police, and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Lacy Heitkamp of Marvin Street reportedly failed to stop for a Central City Officer at Commercial and Prairie Street and drove to her home. Once there, Heitkamp allegedly went into her home. A passenger told police there may be drugs in the car and what field tested as controlled substances were allegedly recovered. After knocking on the door multiple times, Heitkamp eventually came out and was taken into custody and the Marion County Jail. The passenger was released without any new charges.
Salem Police arrested 40-year-old Christopher Folmsbee of North Meyer Road in Centralia for driving on a suspended license. He was taken to the Marion County Jail where he was later released on a notice to appear in court.
