A 76-year-old Mt. Vernon woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route 37 at Kell Road early Saturday afternoon.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say a car driven by Marilyn McPheeters of East Violet Road in Mt. Vernon and a pickup driven by 39-year-old Benjamin Cates of South Pruyn Street in Salem collided at the intersection.
McPheeters was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports are incomplete as to how the crash occurred.
It was first reported at 1:03 Saturday afternoon.
