A 39-year-old Salem man refused hospital treatment for apparent minor injuries sustained in a car-bicycle crash.
Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports indicate Elliot Edwards of Selmaville Road was riding his bike eight inches inside the white lane in the 3700 block of Selmaville Road near Bryant Lane when he was struck from behind by a car driven by 76-year-old John Dietrich of Ballwin, Missouri.
Edwards was checked on the scene by United Medical Response. Dietrich was not injured.
No citations were issued.
The crash occurred at 9:23 Wednesday morning.
